I want to share with you all a little of things that inspire me, make me create, make me smile, and keep me going. But first, here are some interesting facts about me…

Interesting Fact #1:
I am interested in paths. Peoples paths—my own path. I want to know how people got to where they are today and where they are going next. Where did you come from and how did it shape your life? The why people do what they do, when they do it really makes me want to dig further… I think this comes from the fact that I am getting to the point in my life where there are people I once knew—in elementary school, high school, college—that are drastically different than how I knew them. Why is that? Do the people we chose to surround us with alter our lives and ourselves that much that we could be unrecognizable to people we once knew? Do we just take a left turn in life instead of a right and it completely changes us? Is it based on our experiences, life defying experiences? It’s all so crazy how where we are at exact moments can change our lives, for better or for worse.. I wonder where else my life was going before I took some left turns…

Interesting Fact #2:
I love to create. I feel the most in my powers when I’m working with my hands. My favorite part is when the idea first pops in my head and I start…the painting, drawing, piece of jewelry, sketchbook….etc. My least favorite part is months later when I find it in pieces because I lost all my excitement. I either didn’t like how it was turning out or got distracted with another idea that was better! Ever happen to you?? maybe I have a bit of ADD….

Interesting Fact #3:
I hate being early, almost as much as I hate being late. This also goes hand in hand with: I hate having nothing to do. I won’t get out of bed in the morning without a plan. Once my feet hit the floor, I need to know—am I putting clothes on, if so, which ones? Do I need to shower? Am I going for a run? Most of the time, what gets me out of bed is breakfast. If I know that when I get down the stairs I can make pancakes with fresh blueberries, that first step is A LOT easier in the morning.. BUT this means that in the morning, I have planned my morning before I went to bed the night before. And if you are anything like me…you know how that goes. When I’m going to bed, I am tired and think I can do EVERYTHING the next morning. Clothes in the dryer…I’ll put them away tomorrow! Make lunch for the next day…nahhh! I can do that in the morning. Shower the night before? No way, Jose! I will get up early in the AM. When that alarm goes off, I press snooze—cuz I loooooooove sleep. Then I lay in bed and check my phone for 15 minutes. By the time I get up, I have time for a quick shower-throw my hair in a bun, throw together a sandwich and laundry goes in the basket that I’ll put away after my 11 hour work day…AND I’m running 5 minutes behind..

stay tuned for more..soon!
